I would like to personally thank my daughter's tutor. Amanda's tutor has been extremely helpful to her over the summer months. He really went the extra mile to help her with the lessons, and I want to say a "special" thank you. I have been requested  to write a comment about your company and your tutors who tutor my children. 

My  children have been with your company since September 2006, I believe.  The reason I first tried the tutoring online because of  my children’s busy schedules.  It is very difficult to have a fixed time and have a tutor to come to our house and vice versa.   To have a tutoring online will give us some flexible time to meet our needs.    At the same time I was also a kind of skeptical about learning online. It was a new experience to me back then, and  I was not sure it would work especially with overseas tutors like your company. 

It has been over a year we have been with you.   Your company and your tutors have proved to us that you have done more than what we expected.   First,  I am impressed that your company purchase all the text books your students learn at school so that your tutors can correlate during lessons.  Secondly, whenever  I have any requests e.g. books,  headsets, whiteboards or questions I will get the response promptly.   The California administrators, Stutdent Support staff and your tutors are very courteous and friendly.  Lastly and importantly, because of your tutors’s credentials I have a peace of mind and believe your tutors are very knowledgeable in the subject they teach.  

I have been very satisfied with both the qaulity of your service and tutors.

Now I would like to give a comment about Erica’s tutor: Dibyendu.

Dipu has been Erica’s math tutor for over a year.   Math is always a very difficult subject for  Erica.   After she started tutoring with Dipu, her grade has gradually been improved from a D to a B+.  Both Erica and I are very pleased with the result.  I believe she will contintue to improve more in math with him.  He is a wonderful tutor.  He is not only  very patient and helpful, but also works very hard to meet his student’s needs.  Erica’s shedule is quite busy because of her sports, clubs and volunteer work.  He tries to be  flexible with the time whenever he can.  If she needs more help with math, he is always  available to help her even on weekends. We are appreciative to his flexibility.  I am so amazed how hard he works for his student and is passionate about his profession.  Sometimes I also wonder if he ever sleeps!    Dipu has all qualities that all teachers should have.

Two years ago, my son was 3 weeks from finishing his 2nd trimester in the 6th grade.  It was then that his teacher told me that he would be put in a lower math class for the final semester.  The math group my son was in was for students that would be taking honors math in jr. high.  His teacher believed that my son would not be able to keep up with the rest of the students since the work level was going to become more complex.  All his friends were in the advanced math class, to be separated because of a demotion would be embarrassing and devastating.  I told his teacher I would have my son tutored. His teacher agreed to watch his progress over the next 3 weeks before he made a decision.

I quickly began searching for a tutor.  I was prepared for the high hourly prices.  I was not prepared for the high assessment charges that went along with most programs.  Also, I would have to schedule a time for testing and a slot for my son. I needed help fast.  At 1 to 1 tutor I was able to schedule my son almost immediately.  I was also able to schedule him for two classes a week; for less than one session with a traditional tutor.  His tutor, Dibyendu, was an excellent communicator.  My son learns best through interacting, he also loves to work on the computer, so this was a great tool for him.  Also I did not have to take him and his two younger siblings to another location two times a week for tutoring. We already had a full schedule with sports, music lessons and youth group at church. Tutoring was done from the convenience of our home office.  It was perfect!

There is also a happy ending to my dilemma.  My son stayed in the advanced math class.  He graduated with Honors, received an award his reading accomplishments and also spoke at the graduation ceremony.  I know that with out the help of 1to1 tutor his final months in the six grade would not have ended so well.  Also, he scored in the top 5% in his class in the math category on the state test.  This has been a great experience for us and is why we have continued with 1to1 tutor for the past two years and will continue until he and his siblings graduate.

We are very pleased with the services you offer through 1:1 Tutor.  We started several years ago because Heidi needed math enrichment and advancement beyond that offered by her school. Your program is wonderful because we can always fit it into her busy schedule, and it is particularly good for her because she is physically handicapped. She can work with you even when she is in great pain.  This gives her needed diversion.  Academically, Heidi has always been a top student in math (and everything else), but she hopes to move far ahead of everyone in math so she can be accepted in the state's top math and science academy in a couple years.  She is hoping you will be able to help her meet that goal. Her grades have always been A's in math.  She seldom misses a problem.

 Hello my name is Nicholas Gjelaj , my tutor is Subham Das. My experience with 1to1 tutor is great. Even though I'am just a few session into the program I really like it . The teacher that I work with is very nice and I can understand him very well. So far I recommend the program to all my friends that needs help on the subject.   I started using tutor 1 to 1 for my 2nd son about 6 months ago with Krishna Jaiwal.  My son like his teaching style a lot. He would go over the chapter very throughly before he gives him the problem to do.His grade improve tremendously.
  My older son, who is now a senior in high school, was used to getting As in all of his honor math classes. Until about a month before the end of the semester, he began to get Fs.  He was in a lot of school activities and always thought he could make it up on the following tests.  Before he knew it, finals were only 2 weeks away. We were panicking. I quickly enrolled him to tutor 1 to 1 and talked to the customer support, Sougata, to  schedule lessons for 5 days a week. They sent me all the necessary tools right away and the sessions started immediately.  They assigned Subham  Das for his tutor. The support group and Subham were very sincere in helping my son to do good on his final.  His grade is getting better, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.  I have confident if he continue to get the help from Subham , he could get the grade that he used to have.  Thank you 1 to 1 Tutor,  Subham and Krishna. We appreciate your hardwork.

My experience with Subham and my overall experience with 1 to 1 tutoring has been excellent. My grades have increased significantly and i am now receiving marks i never knew i was capable of. I have recommended this service to a few friends and it really works. I see great opportunity in this tutoring service and plan on sticking with it for a long time.

My general over view of 1to1Tutor ( Souvik ) Who I find very helpful I recently was behind in math studies but with help in a understandable way with accent but extremely clear in everyway I felt as though if I had a problem Souvik was there showing me step by step. I also came to like how it didn’t have to just be about math. Souvik often asked “ How are you ? “ How was your weekend ? “ “How is your dog ?” I found this very delightful an interest in my daily life. Wich I feel is a key in teaching one with problems. I feel Souvik is a good example to many other teachers and tutors I have had none quite as good. ;) So Thanks Souvik for getting down on my level having interest in my life :). I also often get off track with drawing but Souvik lets it go on showing interest in it and laughing but then say " okay next Problem lets do it. "

Since Ada started with 1to 1 tutor, her math grade went from a "D" to an "A". She is staying ahead of the class, and is enjoys math. Her tutor Arny has been wonderful with her. Arny takes time to explain the rules and processes, and allows Ada to think on her own. The tutoring has been a great relief for me as well. I had an awful time trying to teach Ada, and we quarrelled daily over her math.
